Our 1st Ice Skating Adventure

Tonight, Jeff & I finally had the oportunity to go ice skating. As everyone knows, Jeff is pretty tall which also means his feet are pretty big. We have called around to ice skating rinks a couple times over the years and no one has ever had his size skate. But our luck has changed. Since we live in this amazing place called Lakeland, we finally found aplace that has skates for Jeff. The Lakeland center is our local arena (like mins form the house) for shows, circus', concerts, disney on ice, etc. Well much to our delight we found out that every winter the lakeland center opens their ice rink for public skating. They had the size 14 that Jeff needed and we finally got to skate!!!

We had a great time. It was harder than I remembered it being the last time I went, which was probably about 10 years ago. The ice was pretty rough. It was in desparate need of a zamboni but what do you want for 7 bucks? So I guess that was our 1st annual Ice Skating date. We would like to do it every year & next year I think we will invite some friends or family to enjoy it with us.
