Tampa...here we are!

The view from the sliding glass doors in ou living room. Not so bad for an apartment! =)

Blue hanging out his new bed in the living room.....it is actually a papzon cusion but he likes it!

Jeff and I have rented out our house in Lakeland, YAY!!! So this past weekend we moved into our new apartment in Tampa. Some might say, why would you move from a house to an apt??? There are many reasons, first and foremost it is like 5 miles away from work instead of 35 miles. Secondly it is cheaper. But also, it is maintenance free, has a pool, and is located in Town and Country which is exactly where Jeff and I want to be. We have a 2/2 , its just the right size. Blue is not a big fan of all the carpet since he likes to lay on the cold wood floors at the house. But he is starting to adjust.

I started my new position working in the Emergency Room this week and as I expected, I absolutly love it. The fast pace makes the day go by fast and is actually energizing rather than exhausting. Jeff is going to orientation this week for his part time 2nd job at Sports Authority. He worked there for four years in college so he figured he could go make a few extra bucks for us to save. I love my hard working man! Since we left Lakeland I do not have my own Pilates class to teach at the Tampa YMCA, but I am planning to get involved this week and hope to have one of my own again eventually.

School is going well for the both of us. We are dorks and love the academic stimulation. When are brains are working, we feels much more productive and useful.

About two weeks ago, Jeff received a phone call from his doctor and much to our suprise he said that Jeff does not have Celiac Disease....what???!!! He recommended that Jeff reintroduce gluten into his diet. Since than Jeff has been eating gluten and doing well with it, he definitly seems to have more energy but it is still scary because the tough thing about Celiac is that even if you don't have symptoms the gluten could still be destroying your body. Jeff is currently trying to make an appointment at the Cleveland Clinic to get some straight answers so he can feel more comfortable about his health situation. We would really ike to get his figured out as soon as possible.

Anyways, things are pretty crazy here but all is well. Still planning the specifics of our European vacation. But I will be sure the post when we have it figured out.
